Pie Hole Nulkaba is the Hunter Valley's handmade pie shop, on Wine Country Drive just before you reach the Pokolbin cellar doors. Whether you're fuelling up for a day of wine tasting or heading home after a weekend in the vines, stop in for a brisket and jalapeño, a BBQ brisket, or a cherry pie for the road. Gluten-free and vegetarian options daily. Soft serve, milkshakes and proper coffee.

Do you have gluten-free pies?
Yes — we bake a gluten-free plain beef pie every day at both shops. It's the same generous size as our regular pies. Other flavours rotate depending on the day, so ring ahead if you want to lock one in.
Do you do vegetarian options?
Every day. Our curry vegetable pie and spinach and ricotta roll are on the shelf all week, and we rotate seasonal vegetarian pies on top of that.
Can I order a custom cake?
Yes. We do birthday cakes, cupcake orders and cakes for weddings and events. Give us at least 3–5 days' notice for anything custom. Call the shop closest to you or use the contact form.
Do you supply pies wholesale?
Yes. We wholesale handmade pies across the Central Coast and Hunter Valley — cafés, pubs, clubs and caterers. Head to our wholesale page for a quote.
Can I pre-order for pickup?
Phone pre-orders are welcome at both shops, especially if you need a tray of pies for an event or want to make sure a specific flavour is held for you. Online pre-order is coming soon.
Is the Nulkaba shop on the way to the wineries?
Yes — we're at 127 Wine Country Drive, Nulkaba. Most people pass us heading from the motorway to Pokolbin. Pull in for breakfast pies on the way out, or a cherry turnover for the drive home.
Do you have seating at Nulkaba?
Yes — we've got dine-in and outdoor seating at the Nulkaba shop, plus proper on-site parking. Handy if you're stopping with a full carload on the way to the Hunter.
